This is the first form students learn in Foundation Studies.

Beginning Tai Chi Program
Beginning Tai Chi is an ongoing program covering the
24 Yilu beginning form (see video above), 
in preparation for all advanced Tai Chi and Qigong programs.

  Tuition is $740 per term.
(Terms are three months)
This is an ongoing class. Join at any time.
Your tuition will be pro-rated.
Your program tuition covers both the required and
the optional elective classes listed below.
There is also a one-time registration fee of $120, and
various smaller costs for textbooks, uniforms, weapons, etc.
Tuition is due in full the first week of classes each term,
unless you're on medical disability or you're a senior on limited income,
in which case special arrangements can be made. 
We do not provide financial assistance or internships.

Classes are approximately 20% theory, 80% practice.
All Beginning Tai Chi classes are taught by
Academy founder and head instructor Malcolm Dean.

BEGINNING TAI CHI
Main class:
• Beginning Tai Chi - T/Th evenings, 6:00-7: 00 PM, or
• Beginning Tai Chi - Sat/Sun, 11:00-12:00 AM

Optional classes:
These classes are available to program members at no additional cost:
• Morning Qigong - M-F 8:00-9:00 AM
• Dynamic Qigong - Sat 9:00-10:30 AM
• Primordial Qigong - Sun 9:00-10:30 AM
• Modern Taoism - Sat 12:30-2:30 PM
• Push-Hands - Sun 12:30-1:30 PM
